Apple jumps into the social music market with My iTunes

Want the world to know what you have bought on iTunes? You need one of the new My iTunes widgets for your web presence.

The My ITunes widgets are only of any use if you happen to be a regular purchaser of content from iTunes, showing an up-to-date list of your favourite music, TV shows, movies, all constantly updated and available for embedding into your website, blog or network site profile. One shows recent iTunes purchases. Another shows music you’ve reviewed on iTunes and the third a gathering of artists you’ve purchased on the iTunes store.

Nice if you happen to shower Apple with download money regularly, pretty dull or pointless for the rest of us.
