There's nothing like choice - but perhaps there's just a little bit too much choice with Toshiba's Gigabeat U103 series.
It's like an explosion at a paint factory - or a paint chart from B&Q. Either way, they seem to have missed out white. In terms of specification, there's 1GB of storage, a small OLED screen and playback of MP3, WMA and WAV files. There is also an FM radio, FM recording and a transmitter for playing your tunes in the car.
Just launched in Japan, they sell for the equivalent of around £60.
