Wii Fit could be the next big killer game for Nintendo's Wii console, turning couch potato gamers into toned athletes (probably) via a selection of healthy mini-games. It was announced at E3 earlier this week, along with a Balance Board peripheral which you'll stand on while playing.
Anyway, it seems that the Balance Board has created quite a stir. According to Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, plenty of third-party developers are lining up to create games that use the accessory, but also a number of firms in the medical/healthcare industry have been in touch, to see how it could be used in rehabilitation.
A Wii in every hospital ward? It could happen...
