LINDY launch two-port FireWire ExpressCard

lindy_1394a_firewire_express_card.jpgLINDY Electronics has today announced the availability of its two-port FireWire ExpressCard, compatible with notebook computers that have this latest interface.

Though it only supports slower FireWire (1394a) standard of 400Mbps, that should be ample speed for connecting high-speed digital devices such as camcorders and hard drives.

The card includes a built-in power jack, useful when the connected devices require power. It should be compatible with all major Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.

It's available now, priced at £44.99.
