Get your Hot Rocks on for Xbox 360

hotrock-xbox-360.jpgStandard Xbox 360s are heat-sensitive, of course – it’s why you shouldn’t install one in your greenhouse or home sauna.

But now Microsoft’s console has got a properly heat-sensitive case too, the Hot Rock, which is made of translucent plastic that changes colour as the console heats up.

It goes from purple, through green and orange, right through to flashing red if your Xbox 360 is in danger of exploding. Which given the problems being suffered by a significant percentage of Xbox 360 owners, is a handy early warning system. The Hot Rock case is due on sale soon here in the UK.
