Chi S70 – vintage Nintendo console and media player in your pocket

Whether all the quirky media players coming out of China are actually full licensed is very much open to question – but until there’s some sort of clampdown (like that’s ever going to happen), we can enjoy devices like the Chi S70.

It’s essentially a media player with 2.7-inch QVGA screen for watching your MPEG4 videos, as well as having compatibility for the usual music formats. But the selling point here is Nintendo – there’s an emulator on board for NES and GameBoy emulation. Just downloads the ROMs and travel back in time to the days when playability was more important than fancy graphics.
