I had a play around with Babelgum when it was launched in beta a few weeks back, coming to the conclusion that it was technically very good, but content-wise, sorely lacking. Well, all that could be about to change.

That’s because the company seems to be doing content deals left, right and centre. In fact, it’s just announced 30 new partners who will be distributing content on Babelgum, including big names like the BBC and Reuters, through to a new band of indepedent producers.

If it delivers, Babelgum could be a contender. Read on after the turn for the full list of content providers.
