Snooper Strabo – sat nav and enhanced speed camera warning system

Snooper does a fine line in sat nav with speed camera notification. Following on from the Syrius system, it has introduced the Strabo, which offers much the same, but with one key difference – this one warns you of mobile and temporary cameras too.

Obviously a good thing if you have points on your licence and an inability to read speed limit signs. As wwell as mobile camera warnings, it warns of static cameras too, informing the driver of the speed limit and distance to each camera location via the company’s European database. And as an added bonus to lorry drivers, it also warns of low bridges.

There’s also the full sat nav functionality – 3.5-inch LCD touch screen, Navteq European mapping, points of interest, 2D and 3D views and a choice of route type between fastest, shortest or avoiding toll roads and congestion charge areas.

Available now, you can pick one up for £299.
