RealTrackFootball: follow your team with GPS

realtrack.jpg

Was the ref asleep? Was it really a goal? Pinpoint the truth with RealTrackFootball. Well, actually, right now it's for practice sessions, allowing coaches to use GPS to follow their players in a digital setting to better track speed, reaction time and tactical positioning. The data can even be viewed on a PDA. Logically though, fans are going to want players tagged during actual games so they can watch the game on their mobiles and ignore the physical spectacle in front of them. Though your mobile probably smells better. [GT]
