Logitech unveils HD webcam range

I'm not sure I really want the image of me in front of this computer improving to HD-quality, but if clarity is your thing, you might be interested in picking up a webcam from Logitech's new range.

Two new models have been announced, the desktop-friendly QuickCam 9000 and the QuickCam Pro for Notebooks. Both have a HD-quality 2-megapixel range, with lens and optics made by Carl Zeiss, as well as a silent autofocus system and support for 720p HD video at 960 x 720. There's also a background noise cancellation system called RightSound for less peripheral sound and echo, as well as 'fun filters' and 3D avatars.

Available now, they retail for £69.99 each.
