We’ve covered a lot of the rumours about the new Microsoft Zunes in the works so far, but now word has reached us via Zune Scene that the new flash Zune finally has a name – Draco. The odds of Bill Gates being a closet Harry Potter fan are very slim, so there’s probably another meaning behind the rather-sinister sounding name. Any guesses?

Available in two sizes as we reported earlier, the 4GB and 8GB models should be available late this year and hopefully contain video playback and Wi-Fi. Again, no word on whether the flash Zune will be a collaboration between Microsoft and Sony Ericsson and incorporate phone technology as rumoured earlier, but we’re sure something solid will leak out of Microsoft soon. Shame Scoble isn’t there anymore, sob.
