broadbandmodem.jpgA new survey by Orange Broadband has found that 61% of Britons can’t live without the Internet, with half saying that they spend three or more hours online every day.

Amongst the findings, Orange discovered that broadband customers in the north-east of England buy and sell more goods over the Internet than anyone else, while those from London will most likely use social networking websites such as MySpace and Facebook.

Nearly one-fifth of people in the north-west watch TV online, and two-thirds of those in the south-west use broadband for entertainment.
