DLO has launched the TransDock Deluxe – another iPod transmitter, but with one difference – this one has steering wheel control.

It’s your typical transmitter, with music played from your iPod through your car’s FM stereo. And if you have the kit and you’re not driving, iPod video can be played through an in-car video system. But this one has that steering remote, which means you can control your iPod safely, without having to take your eyes off the road. It attaches to either side of the wheel, allowing you to pause, skip songs and adjust volume.

And the TransDock secures and charges your iPod, meaning it’s ready to go with you when you arrive. The TransDock Deluxe is available now in the US, with a retail price of $129.99./ No news of a UK launch as yet.
