Sony has a new home theatre system on the horizon - but right now, it looks to be US-bound only.
This little and large combination goes under the name DAV-IS10 and features five miniature satellite speakers and a subwoofer producing a total output of 450W (5x 50W satellites plus a two-way subwoofer at 100W x 2).
It also features Sony's Bravia Sync technology for easy connection to your Bravia TV via HDMI, as well as easy set-up with the company's Digital Cinema Auto Calibration (DCAC) optimisation. There's also 720p/1080i upscaling for the DVD/CD player, touch-sensitive controls, a Digital Media Port for attaching the likes of its TDM-NC1 WiFi audio streamer .
In the US, this is due on sale in July for $800, which is around £400. No news of a European launch as yet/
