Samsung has been showing off two new handsets with HSDPA connectivity in Korea – although whether they’ll make it to Europe still isn’t clear.

The typically thin SCH-W270 (also known as SCH-W2700) packs a 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 player, 2.3-inch screen, e-dictionary, Bluetooth and Microsoft Office functionality. Available in black or white, it retails for the equivalent of £220.

The SCH-W290 is a slider phone and not a million miles away in terms of functionality. You get a 2-inch screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 player, Bluetooth and room for a microSD card. That will set back Korean consumers the equivalent of £220 too.

If we get wind of these heading over here, we’ll let you know.
