x 5px 5px 0px” />LG has unveiled a new entry-level handset – the KP202 – which is described as a dual LCD folder handset.

That means a clamshell with two screens, but a slim one, coming in at just 20mm thick. But it is very much an entry-level tri-band handset, with a VGA camera, speaker phone mode, 64MB of memory and a battery that offers around three hours of talk time. And that’s just about your lot.

According to Skott Ahn, President & CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company: “We have seen huge success in LG’s premium mobile market over the past few years, through the introduction of the LG Chocolate phone which set new design and innovation standards in the global mobile phone market. We’re confident this trend will continue as LG introduces new high-end mobile handsets such as the Shine. We are now also focusing on strategically expanding our presence in the entry-level market to strengthen our broader offering in the mobile industry. The handset we’re introducing in the UK today allows our customers a greater choice when it comes to functionality and price.”

The KP202 is now available throughout the UK. Check with your favoured network for price.

  • Three hours talk time is pretty good compared to most cellphones out there…and the slim design make it less bulky in pockets.
