Holy toast, Batman, it's... holy toast! At least, that's what I thought when I first saw this photo of a street-art installation in Berlin, using loads of slices of toast to create a giant face. And you have to admit, it looks a lot like Jesus.
Apparently it's not though – instead it's of Murat Kurnaz, a German resident who was formerly incarcerated in Guantanamo Bay. In other words, the toast artist is making A Serious Political Point, although I bet that wouldn't stop online casinos from paying a six-figure sum for the portrait if it was sold on eBay...
No, this isn't a very high-tech story for Tech Digest, but the artist presumably used a toaster of some kind. *waves shoehorn*
