We interviewed Inspired’s Norman Crowley about the company’s advances in pub (and public) technology, so it’s no surprise to see them going a step further with it – this time updating THE Music jukebox with a few extra features.

From this month, THE Music will feature an updated and optimised user interface, along with new navigation, spellchecking and a ‘click to purchase’ key if you like what you hear. There’s also new functions, including ‘On this day’, which will play the number one on any given date, ‘All the number ones” to hear a sequence of chart toppers, ‘Popular tracks’ for the most played and ‘Genres’, which offers you the option of picking music by category.

Norman Crowley of Inspired, commented: “We conducted extensive research and are pleased to now offer the best consumer usability in the jukebox market today. We have also extended the opportunities on the THE music for marketing partnerships as our jukebox provides brands with a great opportunity to get visibility in pubs. Nuts Magazine has already received great exposure on our pub entertainment terminal, the itbox, and we hope THE Music will be a great opportunity for brands to increase their exposure in front of a target audience.”
