Keyboards are getting more user-friendly on mobile devices, but if you still need something like the thing on your desk, it might be worth having a look at the iGo Stowaway folding Bluetooth keyboard, now available through Widget.
The idea, as the name suggests, is a portable keyboard, but without having to carry around the wires. As long as your device has Bluetooth support, you can connect without cables, allowing you to use a full-size keyboard with 18mm spacing.
And when not in use, it folds down small – small enough to fit into your pocket. There’s also a lap lock if you can’t find a surface, which means you can use the keyboard on your lap without it collapsing.
