Philips ID9371 DECT PhoneThough the name isn’t exactly inspiring, Philips latest DECT phone, the ID9371, boasts an “exclusively crafted design”.

It features soft-touch feel and incorporates a white backlit inverse display, able to show over 65,000 colours.

The base station is done out in sleek black gloss finish.

As to how it sounds? It boasts crystal clear clarity thanks to Philips’ ClearVoice HD technology that claims to reproduce real-life sound quality to both normal and handsfree conversations.

The phone can be customised with wallpapers, and has a SIM card reader to enable contacts from a mobile phone to be copied over to the handset. It can send and receive SMS text messages, and can identify who is calling with its 16-tone polyphonic ring tones.

Available in June, priced from £80.
