Pinnacle PCTV To Go – stream your living room viewing around the home and beyond

Pinnacle has launched the PCTV To Go network TV box, which allows you to watch their living room TV on a PC at home or anywhere in the world.

Connected to any set-top box, DVR or VCR, the Pinnacle PCTV To Go streams the home TV content delivered by that TV source to the network. Which means it effectively adds a TV with PVR to any room where there is a PC connected to the home network.

Video is streamed in DVD quality (MPEG-2), making it ideal for full-screen viewing. And up to five PCs on the same network can tune into the same TV programme—without the TV having to be turned on. If you’re out and about with access to a broadband connection, you can access a password-protected stream in MPEG-4 format. And you can control and record programs too.

The Pinnacle PCTV To Go wireless systems and PCTV To Go LAN systems will be available from mid March, priced from £149.99.
