Along with their new mju 780 compact digital camera, Olympus have unveiled two new digital SLRs.

The Olympus EVOLT E-410 offers a 10 megapixel image sensor and 4/3 lens mount system, with a 2.5″ HyperCrystal LCD, TruePic III image pocessor, 20 shooting modes, 3FPS burst mode, and xD and CompactFlash card slots. Additionally, the Olympus EVOLT E-510 also features image stabilisation.

Both feature a dust reduction system that utilises Supersonic Wave Filter technology which vibrates to remove dust from the front of the image sensor, capturing it on a special adhesive membrane.

The cameras are ergonomically designed, with the E-510’s body being larger. Both are compatible with the extensive Zuiko range of lenses.

The E-410 will cost $699, available May, whilst the E-510 costs $799, available in June. UK availability and pricing to be confirmed.
