Shiny awards - here come the nominations

There’s a huge buzz around the Shiny office now for later on today we are decamping to Soho House, in the centre of London, for this year’s Shiny Awards ceremony.

The awards are voted for by a panel of Shiny writers and editors aided and abetted by select gadget/fashion journalist types from the likes of The Guardian, The Sun and Q magazine.

Instead we are going to have much more fun in presenting the Colleen McLoughlin-inspired ‘WAG gadget of the year’, ‘the boring but useful gadget award’ and our fave, and the successor to last year’s Chav gadget award – the ASBO gadget.
