Pure has launched what it describes as an “affordable” home Hi-Fi system – the DMX-25.

The DMX-25 produces 10 Watts RMS per channel of audio and offers playback of MP3/ WMA files from a choice of portable USB flash memory drives, SD memory cards or CDs. You can also add an iPod, MiniDisc or MP3 player via the two auxiliary inputs.

The DAB tuner autotunes all available stations, with scrolling text showing news, sports results, artist names and track titles. There’s also FM with RDS and a total of 30 presets. The top loading CD player is CD-R and CD-RW playback compatible with support for CD Text and audio CD playlists. Other features include a sleep timer and a fully featured remote control, plus LCD display.

The DMX-25 is on sale from April 2007 for £129.99
