Navman has upgraded its budget F20 sat nav system with a range on add-ons to create three new models – the F30, F40 and F50.

Essentially it’s the same F20 specification – 3.5-inch touchscreen, Intel PXA 255-200MHz processor and SiRF Star III GPS receiver. The difference in models is the add-on you require. So, with the F30, you get real-time traffic information updates. Or if you go for the F40, you get a Bluetooth box for some handsfree calling in the car (but note, you don’t get the traffic updates).

Finally, there’s the F50, which gives you both the Bluetooth box and the traffic updates, as well as an SD card slot. All three models are available now, priced at around £200 for the F30, £230 for the F40 and £250 for the F50.
