Instead of surgery, you can now have a Minibot investigate your insides, report about the conditions, and undertake actual repair. Sized 2cm by 1cm, the plastic covered bot is inserted into an incision and then controlled via magnetic fields. It can then take tissue samples or pictures, and also administer medication. So if you need a shot in the inside of your arm, this bug’s for you. [GT]
