Pure’s first new model for 2007 is Move – a palm-sized, DAB digital and FM radio for listening on the go.

Pure’s Move, just 15cm x 8.5cm x 2.7cm in size, provides over 40 hours of DAB radio via its internal speaker or its headphone output (headphones not included). When the charge runs out, use the built-in ChargePAK battery pack to power up, which recharges from the mains. As well as being a portable device, you can use it around the home with its fold-out stand. Just make sure the room’s not too big, although Pure does say it offers “substantial volume for its size” without saying how much.

Other features include textSCAN for pausing and controlling DAB scrolling text, 20 presets, an auxiliary input for connecting an iPod or other player and a mini USB connection for future product upgrades. You can also plug the headphone output into a hi-fi system and use it as a DAB tuner.

Available later this month, Move retails for £89.99.
