Pentax unveils entry-level 7.1 megapixel Optio M30

Following the launch of the Pentax Optio T30 comes the Pentax Optio M30, an entry-level 7.1 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom.

According to Pentax, the M30 has "an unprecedented ultra-slim body" that's just 18mm deep, ideal for slipping in a pocket or bag for a night out. Like the T30, it features Face Recognition auto focus and Shake Reduction, along with an Auto Exposure function and an Auto Picture mode for the best settings according to the conditions.

There's also a large LCD screen, movie mode and what's described as an "exceptional" battery life. Expect to see it in February, prices at £139.99.
