We have featured indiestore.com previously – it’s an easy way for bands to sell their music without a traditional record deal or store, recently propelling Koopa into the top 40. And now, after a link-up with Ricall, it is offering bands the chance to feature their music on the big and small screen.

Ricall is an online music marketplace used by TV, advertising, computer game and film producers. With the partnership, professional music buyers will now be able to browse indiestore.com artists as well as more established acts, giving new bands the chance of fame and fortune in the media.

Ben Drury, MD, 7digital comments: “This is a great opportunity for indiestore.com artists to promote their music to an audience that would usually be inaccessible to unsigned acts. Tracks featured in adverts often break emerging acts, for example Jose Gonzalez’s Heartbeats achieved great success after featuring in a television advert last year. There is no reason why indiestore.com artists can’t do the same.”
