Fujifilm's latest FinePix digital camera came out in Japan at the weekend, and despite the name, it certainly isn't crap. What it is is a waterproof and dustproof six-megapixel cam with 3x optical zoom and a beefy wide-angle lens.
It takes two AA batteries for power, and has 27MB of internal memory plus a slot for FujiFilm's xD memory cards. The price: 69,800 Yen, which is around £295. It sounds like you're paying more for the ruggedness than for the actual features, but it looks more than capable – and imagine the fun you can have making BIGJOB jokes with your mates after buying it...
