CES 2007: Lexar introduce premium and standard SDHC flash memory cards

Lexar have announced new Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) flash memory cards, with capacities of 4GB and 8GB.

Available next month, the 4GB Premium card will have a 60X speed rating, capable of writing 9MB per second (that’s above Class 6). They’ll also come with a standard edition of Corel Photo Album 6, and a lifetime limited warranty.

The standard 4GB version is a Class 2, providing 2MB per second data transfer. They come will the starter edition of Corel Photo Album 6, and a 5-year limited warranty.

The Premium 4GB card will cost £99.99, with the Standard coming in at £79.99, and will be available from February.

8GB models should be available later in the year.
