The Eclipse AVN2210p marks an interesting direction for car navigation and entertainment. With the unit, you get a TomTom PND that slots into the front to act as a navigator whilst you’re in the car. When you hop out and don’t want to leave your expensive stereo and GPS in full view, you can detach the TomTom section to take with you (better than lugging an otherwise useless head unit display around).

The main unit itself has an 8-digit display, CD player (compatible with CD-R and CD-RW), USB interface and supports MP3 and WMA formats. You can connect an iPod directly up to it as well with full control over its functions. It even acts as a handsfree kit thanks to Bluetooth connectivity.
