You can have a coloured nano, so why not a shuffle? Well, now you can, with Apple offering a range of bright shades for the world’s smallest music player.

Nothing much else has changed – it’s still 1.62 × 1.07 × 0.41 inches, still clips on your clothing and the 1GB memory and 12-hour playing time remain the same. But now you can choose from pink, green, blue and orange, as well as the original metallic grey.

All models are ready to ship now and come with free engraving – yes, that’s Valentine’s Day sorted. They retail for £55.
