PROGear-G5 28-in-1 professional card reader styled like a Mac Pro or G5
Not only is the PROGear-G5 a pretty impressive 28-in-1 digital card reader, but it’s aimed squarely at Mac G5 or Mac Pro users who want to maintain ‘the look’ of all their connected gadgets.
The PROGear-G5 is a high speed USB 2.0 device that will read various CompactFlash, Microdrive, SmartMedia, Magicstor, MMC, xD, SD, miniSD, Secure Digital, RS-MMC, and Memory Stick cards.
It features a pin-protected Compact Flash slot, and no adapters are required for mini-SD, RS-MMC and MS-Duo cards. It is compatible with the latest Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) memory cards, and if running on Windows it features custom icons for each media slot.
It measures 134mm x 64mm x 125mm and runs off any powered USB port.
It costs around US$99 and should be available in the UK.
