Sandisk and Toshiba claimed to have got the first SD High Capacity (SDHC) cards on the market a few months back, but now it seems everyone’s getting in on the acts as SDHC-friendly devices become more plentiful. The latest is from PNY, which has just released a 4GB SDHC card.

PNY’s card is rated Class 4, which means it can transfer 4MB/s of MPEG2 files with a continuous shooting option for stills. PNY says it’s also good for HD video recording and even playback. The 4GB capacity equates to around 1,000 photos or around 1 hour and 30 minutes of video in MPEG2 format.

You can pick one up now, retailing for around £41.
