Another day, another sound system for the iPod. This time it’s the turn of Jamo with the i200, with mixes Jamo’s sound know-how with some stylish Danish design.

Designed by Danish team Smedegaard, the i200 isn’t going to take up much space, measuring 380mm x 95mm x 125mm. Or you can save even more deks space and wall mount it. A spring-loaded docking bay takes all dock-able variants of iPod, charging automatically when connected. There’s an auxiliary audio input for older models.

The sound system is based on Jamo’s award-winning i300 and can be boosted via the sub-out connection, which offers connectivity to a subwoofer. The same connection can also be used to output audio to a JamoLink multi-room system (if you have one) to distribute music around the house.

Available in the coming weeks in black or white, with a wand-style remote control, price to be confirmed.
