Brother's compact All-in-One inkjet range aimed at Britain's homeworkers

Brother are appealing to the nation’s 8 million people who work from home and need a compact, versatile office printer. copier and scanner.

Starting at just £79.99, the range is designed for use where space is at a premium. A survey commissioned by Brother suggests that many homeworkers don’t have a dedicated office space, but instead set up work camp in the kitchen or spare room, where space and other home uses are a major consideration.

Features include front access to ink cartridges for ease of changing, the ability to print high-quality colour photos on glossy paper, and the ability to view photos on the LCD screen before they’re printed.

The entry-level machine, the DCP-130C, is a colour printer, scanner and copier with 100 sheet capacity and a one year ‘on site’ warranty.

The MFC-240C retailing at £119.99 also features a fax machine with 40 speed dials and 10-sheet automatic document feeder.

Next up, the MFC-440CN has all of the above features plus a colour LCD screen. It can also be connected to a home network and features 20 sheet photo paper capacity. It costs £149.99

As usual, the biggest cost is likely to be the consumables, but even so these sound like capable machines.
