diino.jpgIt seems that the online storage market is hotting up, with BT’s digital vault opening up and an improved offering from Carbonite.

Now, Diino has launched version 4 of its web-based file storage, access and distribution service.

This service seems to offer more flexibility than many of the other major offerings, including mobile phone access, personal blogging, secure (2048 bit RSA encrypted) e-mail, and automatic backup. It allows for up to 1 terabyte of digital storage as well as streaming services ideal for music.

Users can access their accounts over a virtual private network from any Internet-enabled PC or mobile device, with drag and drop file moving via the Diino Client software.

A blog can be maintained and added to on the move. Any folder can be published on the “DiinoWeb” allowing for sharing of documents and other content. Photographers can create online albums without using additional software.

An automated backup procedure can be set up which will securely backup files at scheduled times to servers located within a military-grade environment in the mountains of Sweden.

The free 2GB storage is available to any new users who visits diino.co.uk and signs up. Personal users can get up to 100GB of storage whilst business users can plump for the 1TB solution, though that will set you back £600 per month.
