Tech Digest has previously featured watches with Bluetooth, and indeed watches that play your favourite tunes, but I think the Powerdisk watch is the first MP3 player watch with Bluetooth that I’ve encountered.
The first thing you notice is that it looks like a watch – not a mini computer on your wrist. That traditional front does hide some decent technology, including storage of between 128MB and 1GB, a music player that’s compatible with MP3 and WMA files, a removeable lithium battery and of course, the Bluetooth so you can listen to your music wirelessly on the go. Transfer of tracks is via USB.
However, if you’re the sort of person who would forget to wind a watch up, there’s probably not much hope for you remembering to charge one. No word as yet on pricing and availability.
