The price of sat nav might be tumbling, but there's no chance of a bargain price on the Porsche Design P9611 GPS unit.
First off - the looks. It looks as stylish as you'd expect. But it's not all about looks (though I imagine word "Porsche" is probably its biggest selling point). The P9611 features a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 pixel 16:9 display, a 520MHz XScale processor, a dedicated graphics processor, 64MB of memory, an SD/MMC slot to boost storage, a Bluetooth hands-free kit, and a removable battery. And it all runs on Windows CE. The system also warns the driver of speed traps and traffic delays in the 37 mapped European countries. It also plays your MP3s (but only through its own speakers).
The price is estimated to be around $960 (around £510) and should hit the shelves around November.
