Disney launches character-branded iPod nano skins and cases

You’d think Disney would be content making money out of blockbuster movies and theme parks than be bothered about the iPod add-on market. Obviously not, with a range of Disney character iPod nano skins and cases just hitting the shelves.

Known as the Disney Wrap, they’re good for the practical purpose of protecting your iPod nano from bumps and scratches, while at the same time making it look like a six-year-old’s toy. There’s two versions – a PVC cover for tougher protection, or a softer silicone skin. Each slip-on cover has a transparent screen protector and you can use the click wheel control feature through the case, without having to remove it.

Characters featured are all your favourites – Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh and friends and a pink swirl Tinkerbell Wrap if you really want to be sickly sweet. The first designs are available online now and from selected retailers, priced at £10.
