Medion adds four new GPS units to its GoPal range

Budget electronics manufacturer Medion has added four new models to its GoPal GPS range, with the entry-level model staying true to form, priced under £150. All the models are powered by a Samsung 300MHz processor and incorporate on-screen and spoken guidance, comprehensive points of interest, distance and estimated time remaining to the destination. They also feature an expandable memory card slot and interchangeable covers to match your car’s trim.

The compact GoPal PNA 210 is solid entry-level model, with a high resolution, full colour 2.8-inch touch screen TFT display, pre-installed UK and Ireland maps and an integrated GPS receiver for £149.99. The GoPal PNA 500 is the mid-range model, featuring pre-installed NAVTEQ UK and Ireland maps, a 3.5-inch colour TFT touch screen and an integrated MP3 player. It’s priced from £199.99.

Medion’s GoPal PNA 510 is essentially the same spec ar the PNA 500, with an integrated Traffic Message Channel (TMC) receiver, which provides dynamic re-routing in the event of hold-ups on the road. A free lifetime subscription to the TrafficMaster RDS TMC service is included. Priced at £269.99.

The GoPal PNA 515 is the flagship model in the series and uses Bluetooth technology to allow you to make and receive calls safely on your mobile phone while on the move. A headset and protective carry case are included. It also features integrated TMC and full Western Europe Street Mapping on a 1GB MMC card, The price is £349.99.
