"Intel" and "quirky gadgets" are words you don’t often see in the same sentence, but there’s a first time for everything – and that first time is the Intel Entertainment Driver, a remote control based on a BMW steering wheel.

Actually, this "boy’s toy" isn’t just any BMW steering wheel – it’s the BMW Sauber F1 Team’s racing steering wheel. It’s designed to work with Intel Viiv technology, so it’s ideally suited for giving access to  digital content, such as music, films, TV, games and your photos. And it’s programmable, so you can reach your chosen destination at the touch of a button.

However, deep down we know you’ll just use it as a pretend steering wheel when the Grand Prix is on the box.

No price or release date confirmed as yet.
