Alienware has introduced two new notebooks for on-the-go gamers in the form of the Area-51 m5550 and Sentia m3450 notebooks.

The Area-51 m5550 is pitched at both gamers and professionals who want a lightweight machine. It features a 15.4-inch wide-screen display, an Intel dual-core processor, ATI and NVIDIA graphics, as well as featuring Alienware’s Battery Control Technology.

The Sentia m3450 is a very slim machine, weighing only 5.5lbs and less than an inch thick. Again it’s powered by the Intel Core Duo processor, but this model features a 14.1-inch wide-screen display, an integrated webcam and offers up to to 3.5 hours of battery life.

Complete specifications are dependent on your choice of set-up, with the price of the Sentia m3450 starting at £749 and the Area-51 m5550 from £899.
