Nyko Symphony speaker case and power pack for iPod nano
Another hybrid iPod add-on in the same line as the previously featured Soundbag, Nyko’s Symphony similarly combines case, speaker and external power source, this time for your iPod nano.
First and foremost, it’s a leather case that protects your nano, whilst still giving access to the click wheel. It also features compact (and removeable) stereo speakers, so you can enjoy your tunes out and about without headphones – and as they’re removeable, you can use them with other devices, such as a laptop or other portable audio players with 1/8" output jacks.
Add to that a built-in lithium-ion battery, which can provide up to five hours of continuous speaker playback and you have quite a useful little iPod extra when you’re out and about – and one that doesn’t bulk up your bag.
It should be available later this summer, priced around £70.
