Getting tired of plastic? Want to get back to nature with your computer peripherals? You can now swap plastic for wood, thanks to Swedish company Swedx, which has introduced a range of wooden computer keyboards and mice.
They might look like a vintage throwback, but there's nothing old about the technology. The keyboard features 104 keys, has a USB interface and is available in three languages - English, German and Swedish. There's also a choice of wood - ash, beech or sapele.
The mouse is available as either a USB or wireless mouse, both are 3D optical units with a resolution of 800DPI. Again, you've a choice of ash, beech and sapele for the casing.
The keyboards retail for the equivalent of £18 and the mice for between £13 and £21,
