Pyramat Sound Rocker – interactive gaming from a rocking chair

Definitely one of the stranger gaming accessories on the market, the Pyramat Sound Rocker chair claims to offer the "ultimate gaming experience" by heightening a player’s perception of sounds and movement.

The Pyramat Sound Rocker uses Audio Response Technology (ARX), which gives pulsing seat vibration and a powerful sound via the sub-woofer and two full-range co-axial side speakers, which integrates with the on-screen action. And it’s comfortable too, ergonomically designed to support you during long periods of play and with a nice rocking motion so you can move with the game.

And the seats have networking capabilities, so you and your friends (up to eight) can rock together in front of the big screen TV. Though whether they’ll be willing to drag their rocker round to your house is another story. It’s fully compatible with all game consoles, TV, VCR, DVD and MP3 players, so you can rock along to your favourite track or movie too.

Available now, it should cost around £150.
