In an interesting move for the UK television industry, Channel 4 is offering free downloads of the first series of the recently-returned Lost - with further episodes available to download for 99p.
Channel 4 has every episode of Season One available to download now, with new episodes of Season Two available one week after transmission on Channel 4. Episodes one and two are free to view until May 11th 2006. You can also watch all other shows for 99p per episode, with payment via the channel's secure credit card system.
Once purchased, you can watch it as many times as you like in a 24 hour period on a single PC. You'll also need Windows Media Player 10 or above, Windows 2000 or XP, IE 5.5 or 6, a broadband Internet connection of at least 500 kbps and Flash 6 or higher.
