E3 attendance drops by 10,000

It seems slightly odd, what with the video games industry still riding
high on steadily increasing market growth, that E3 attendance should
actually decrease this year. However, it was after complaints of
over-crowding last year that event organisers decided to try and reduce
the number of those attending.

While this appears to have been
successful at least, there were still plenty of complaints about the
length of queues and sheer number of people squeezing themselves into
Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo’s booths. Could that mean a bigger venue
might be on the cards in future?
