Dell's budget Inspiron 640M notebook PC
Following on from the recent launch of the D520 comes another notebook for those on a budget – the Dell Inspiron 640M notebook.
The lightweight (2.5kg) Inspiron 640M with Intel Core Duo Processing, features a 14.1-inch high-definition widescreen display, plus Dell’s MediaDirect for ‘instant-on’ functionality, which gives access to media content without the need to boot Windows.
Options include up to 2GB of memory, 80GB hard drive and a choice of DVD/CD-RW, DVD+/-RW drives. There’s also integrated internal Wi-Fi (802.11b or 802.11 a/b/g), Bluetooth, 4x USB ports, an express card slot, S-Video out, 5-in-1 memory card reader and up to nine hours battery life.
It’s available now, with prices starting from £649.
